Advent Celebration (Erfelden, Germany): Established in 779, this community celebrates advent by organizing nightly gatherings in the twenty-four days leading up to Christmas. Celebrations include singing, music, story telling, hot apple juice for the kids, and gluehwein (spiced, hot, red wine) for the adults.
